What should I expect after I place an order?

When you place an order for a custom project (via email or website), I will create a proof (if applicable) and email it to you. Once approved, I send the order off to be printed. The printer ships to me, and I ship to you! You will receive tracking info when the item ships from me to you. 

What is your turnaround time? 

On average, 2 weeks. This can vary depending on the extent of the project and the time of year.  Anything can be rush shipped and we can work with time crunches depending on the project. During non-peak seasons (March-August) simple proofs can be created in a day or two depending on my workload. Christmas and Valentine’s are my busiest seasons so I recommend making any custom requests or placing orders with plenty of time to spare! 

How long does it take to ship? 

Once I receive your items from the printer I will ship to you immediately. Shipping typically takes 2-5 business days.

Can you do custom projects?

Absolutely! I love coming up with new and creative designs. To inquire about a custom project please email sophieedwardsdesign@gmail.com with as much information that you can provide. Please include date of event or date needed, any inspiration (colors, theme, pictures of things you like), wording, and anything else I may need to know to create just the right product. 

What is your custom pricing?

It totally depends on the project. For basic custom invitation design my design fee is $70 and then there are printing and shipping costs added on top of that. Printing on average runs about $0.50-$0.60 per card (envelope included). For custom holiday cards my design fee starts at $110 with additional fees for photos on the back, return address design, liner design etc. 

Can I make changes to proofs?

You will be given one round of proofs based on the information you provide in the personalization box. After this round of proofs the only edits that will be made without additional fees are those that are a result of a mistake on the part of the designer. 

Can I change wording on pre-designed Christmas cards?

Words that are written in calligraphy (i.e. “Joyful”) cannot be changed. Anything that appears typed can be changed. For example, “Merry Christmas” can be changed to say “Happy Holidays” etc. Just make a note of this when you are prompted to enter personalization. 

Can I change fonts and other elements on pre-designed Christmas cards?

I am not offering customization of fonts and colors on pre-designed cards this year. I have selected fonts that I believe suit the style of each card and fit with the size and formatting. If you have your heart set on a pre-designed card but want to make changes (i.e. add ribbon, change fonts) you can email sophieedwardsdesign@gmail.com and we can make it happen for custom card design pricing.

Do I have to print a picture on my Christmas card?

NO! If you want to glue your own pictures on the old fashioned way, I can work to format the space so that the photo you have will fit in the space provided. You will just need to provide the dimensions of your photo when I reach out to request photography.
